At the IV Vitamin & Therapy Lounge, we offer Consultations for patients considering IV iron infusion therapy. As a CQC registered clinic, your safety, consent and care planning are our top priority. Every patient must complete a consultation before treatment can be administered.

Why a Consultation is Required

An iron infusion is a prescription only procedure. To ensure the highest clinical standards, patient safety and compliance, we require every patient to undergo a consultation to assess:

• Your full medical history
• Relevant blood test results
• Suitability for IV iron therapy
• Any underlying causes of iron deficiency
• The correct dosage and choice of iron formulation
• Your follow up plan for long term health maintenance

You will be fully informed of the benefits, risks and expected outcomes of treatment before proceeding.

Online Consultations

We offer Zoom consultations with our specialist most days of the week to fit around your schedule. These allow you to speak comfortably from home, with the option to include a partner, relative or support person.

Face to face appointments may be available upon request for patients who need extra support (e.g. translator, IT difficulties). Please ask our team about this at the time of booking.

Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy

• We require 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes.
• Consultations are payable in full when you book your appointment for both online and in clinic consultations.
• Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and non attendance will be charged at the full consultation or treatment rate.
• Late arrivals that prevent the treatment from proceeding will need to be rebooked.

We understand that emergencies can occur and will apply discretion where appropriate.
